Another Randomn Experience..........

Today i witnessed a strange scenario.....
while hanging onto the doormat of the bus i saw a bunch of crazy people beating up a beggar (female), the age of the girl would be around 20 or above. Now at that point of time i felt like jumping down from the bus and finding out the reason of the event and most probably helping that girl from the outrageous mob, but i had to reach my work place urgently so i ceased and an outburst of thoughts came flooding into my mind; that, What would have been the possible reason that forced that girl (and alot of other girls of her age) to go roaming around on the streets to beg ? What had she done that she was maltreated in such a pathetic way? What is the government doing about this? Why isn't the governmnet taking a serious step to rehabilitate these kind of people? What should be done by the people to help this class of society? Where should we start from?
All this and alot of other stuff was infuriating me as well as making me ponder for a solution to end this curse of beggary.
